EPA Lead Ruling Advice

As you may already know, it's the law now for all contractors to be certified with the Environmental Protection Agency to be able to do work on pre-1978 built homes or buildings, contractor must provide documentation and give the required information before any work is performed at these locations, this is a nationwide ruling into effect since this past April 22 (Earth Day).     The tub refinishing job was beautifully done, the men cleaned up after themselves and protected the other things in the bathroom, and could not have been more courteous. An excellent experience with workers like this is hard to come by in NYC.

    It is not required for all contractors, only those who will disturb lead based coatings and introduce the paticulates into the environment.
